The dose for those ≥ 12 years of age is 0.5 mL (50 mcg mRNA) given as an intramuscular injection - usually in the deltoid.

The dose for children 6 mos to < 12 years of age is 0.25ml (25 mcg mRNA) given as an intramuscular injection.

Children 6 mos - 4 years of age:

  • who have not had a COVID-19 vaccine are eligible to receive two doses given four to eight weeks apart. Moderately to severely immunosuppressed children can receive an additional dose.
