Lung Transplant Support Group

Join the Community

For those people living with lung disease whose treatment plan has or will involve a lung transplant; and their caregivers.

The purpose of the group is to provide a forum where patients and caregivers can come together in a safe environment to ask questions, share experiences and offer support to each other. The group is here to help you and your family navigate the many steps on your transplant journey - from pre-transplant assessment to living well and leading a healthy life post-transplant.

The group is administered by Lung Saskatchewan and content is managed by volunteer Lung Ambassadors. To maintain a safe and confidential space, this is a closed group for patients, families, caregivers, and others with an interest in respiratory health.

Next meeting date: March 5th @ 12 PM

Join us for a Lung Transplant support group meeting with presentations by the TeleMiracle Kinsmen Foundation. Their presentation will focus on what criteria the Foundation looks at when funding an individual who requires organ transplantation, travel for medical reasons as well as other funding available from the Kinsmen Foundation.
