Sarah Ha
Sarah completed her Bachelor of Health Studies at the University of Saskatchewan, where she is currently continuing her education as a graduate student in the department of Anatomy, Physiology and Pharmacology. Her research focuses on the cellular basis of cystic fibrosis in airway epithelia and potential targets for gene therapies.
Outside of research, Sarah plays an active role in her college as a teaching assistant and a career peer educator. She also enjoys volunteering as a Healing Arts Ambassador at St. Paul’s Hospital where she has learned about challenges in addressing health outcomes from health professionals, patients and community members. As Sarah works through her thesis, she is continually learning about the research process and the impact that research in lung health has on those living with chronic illness.
