Lung Sask provides a public Model Context Protocol server for accessing approved Lung Sask information and resources.

Authentication

None required for public resources.
Private services require an Authorization: Bearer <token> header with a token authorized for the requested service.

Discovery

1. Send an MCP initialize request. Supported protocol versions are 2024-11-05, 2025-03-26, 2025-06-18, and 2025-11-25.
2. Read the negotiated protocol version and server capabilities returned by initialize. Unsupported or omitted versions use 2025-11-25.
3. Send notifications/initialized.
4. Call tools/list, resources/list, and prompts/list to discover the capabilities available to the current endpoint and credentials.

The returned descriptions and schemas are authoritative for determining the functionality currently available from the server. Resource templates are not supported.
