To learn more about programs for financial support for your medication contact the drug manufacturers who often have financial assistance available. Your pharmacist or respirologist may also have the most up-to-date financial support information as well.
Other Resources
- Live Well with Chronic Conditions: 2.5 hour self-management workshops that meet once per week for 6 weeks– led by trained peer leaders. Classes are fun as well as practical. The focus is on building skills for managing your health and maintaining an active and fulfilling life. There is no cost for this program. Each participant receives a free copy of the companion book, Living a Healthy Life with Chronic Conditions. To register please call (306) 655-5483.

Pulmonary Rehabilitation
A great way to learn how to exercise and learn how to manage your disease in a supportive and encouraging environment is to join a pulmonary rehabilitation program. Pulmonary rehabilitation programs offer supervised exercise and education by trained healthcare professionals.

Pulmonary Fibrosis Support Group Meetings
You are not alone. There are in-person and online opportunities to connect with others who understand what it’s like to live with pulmonary fibrosis and interstitial lung disease.

These support groups are open to individuals living with PF, as well as family members, caregivers, and those supporting someone with these conditions.

Caring Breaths Financial Assistance Program
To ease the financial burden that may be associated with living with a lung disease, Lung Saskatchewan is pleased to be able to provide support through its Caring Breaths Financial Assistance Program. This reimbursement program is designed to be complimentary to other established financial assistance programs in the province of Saskatchewan.
