Pulmonary Hypertension

Pulmonary hypertension is a serious and potentially life-threatening disease that causes high blood pressure in the pulmonary arteries (blood vessels of the lungs).  With pulmonary hypertension, the blood vessels of the lungs become narrow and scared.

There are different categories of pulmonary hypertension, with pulmonary arterial hypertension being the most severe.

Pulmonary Rehabilitation can help with the management of pulmonary hypertension. These programs offer supervised exercise and education by trained healthcare professionals.
