A Reminder to Check Home Vents After Snowstorm
As Saskatchewan begins to dig out from the recent snowstorm, residents are reminded to take a few extra minutes to check in on home safety. Snow and ice can block furnace vents, air intakes, and chimneys, which may cause carbon monoxide to build up indoors. Take a few minutes to make sure all vents are clear and working properly.
Be aware of common signs of carbon monoxide exposure, including:
▪️ Headache
▪️ Dizziness
▪️ Nausea
▪️ Shortness of breath
▪️ Confusion or fatigue
