Welcoming New Volunteer Leadership & Honouring Legacy at Lung Saskatchewan
Lung Saskatchewan is proud to welcome three new members to our Board of Directors:
Samuel Rezazadeh – Shaped by his lived experience as a newcomer to Canada and his deep commitment to community, Samuel brings expertise in governance, family law, immigration and refugee matters, estate planning, business law, and more.
Joshwa Howie – With a deep understanding of the health sector, Joshwa brings a strong background in risk compliance and strategic legal oversight.
Jenn Minor Johannsen – A seasoned HR professional and accomplished executive leadership facilitator, Jenn brings a keen focus on people-first leadership.
These professionals join us at a time of considerable innovation within Lung Saskatchewan, and we are excited for the insight, expertise, and strategic clarity each of them will bring. Their contributions will be pivotal as we continue to evolve and lead in the field of respiratory health.
At the same time, we express our heartfelt gratitude to our outgoing Board members:
Justin Wood
Peter Fenton
Patrick Odnokon
Their leadership helped guide Lung Saskatchewan through a period of tremendous transition, including the development of a new strategic plan and the advancement of an improved, gold-standard governance model and practices. Their commitment and vision have left an enduring legacy, and we thank them for their invaluable service.
As we look ahead, we do so with great appreciation for those who have led us here, and with deep and continued optimism for the future.
