Join Lung Saskatchewan for a virtual Lung Transplant Support Group meeting featuring Karen Wormsbecker, Nurse and Out-of-Province Transplant Coordinator with the Saskatchewan Transplant Team.

Drawing on her experience supporting patients and families, Karen will walk participants through the lung transplant journey, offering an honest and compassionate look at what to expect—from the early stages through transplant and recovery. She will speak to both the hope and joy that many experience, as well as the realities and challenges that can arise along the way.

The presentation will also explore the mental and emotional impacts of the transplant journey and highlight the supports available to help you navigate this complex time. Most importantly, this session reinforces a key message: you are not alone.

This supportive, informative discussion is open to those on a lung transplant journey, caregivers, and loved ones seeking clarity, connection, and reassurance in a safe and welcoming space.
