About the Presenter: Dr. Shawn Aaron
Dr. Shawn Aaron is a Professor of Medicine (Respiratory Medicine) at the University of Ottawa and a Senior Scientist at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute. A respirologist and clinical epidemiologist, Dr. Aaron has dedicated his career to improving the diagnosis and treatment of asthma, COPD, and cystic fibrosis, combining clinical practice with high-impact research. His work includes nationwide studies on under-diagnosis of obstructive lung diseases and strategies to ensure people with asthma receive accurate diagnosis and evidence-based care
Dr. Aaron’s research has directly informed clinical practice and health policy, and he is internationally recognized for his contributions to respiratory health.
