About Dr. Brian Conway
Dr. Brian Conway is the medical director of the Vancouver Infectious Diseases Centre as well as an assistant professor in the Department of Pharmacology and Therapeutics at the University of British Columbia. Dr. Conway earned a Doctor of Medicine and Master of Surgery degree and completed a post-graduate fellowship at McGill University. Following his time at McGill, he completed fellowships in infectious diseases at the University of Manitoba and in HIV/AIDS at Harvard University. Dr. Conway’s efforts in the advancement of healthcare have been awarded with the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal of Recognition for significant contribution to the field of HIV/AIDS and vulnerable populations in Canada. He has been recognized extensively in communities, research fields and various political platforms.
