Truth or Dare for Lungs 2014 Grand Prize Winners
Have you ever thought about where you would go if you could fly anywhere? Well John Lagimodiere did just that when he found out he was the winner of two roundtrip tickets anywhere WestJet flies. The grand prize draws for The Lung Association’s Truth or Dare for Lungs 2014 took place on December 8, 2014 at The Lung Association office in Saskatoon. The social media campaign was how The Lung Association celebrated the first ever Lung Month and it featured Lung Ambassador and former Saskatchewan Roughrider Don Narcisse.
When John was asked where he thought he might fly to he said, "I am planning on taking the entire family to New York. It has been a dream destination for me and I'd like to go there and take in the sites." John supports the organization because his son has asthma. He is also a big football fan. He told The Lung Association that, "Don is his favourite Rider ever!"
Sanjeev Singh was the winner of the Capital GMC Grey Cup Experience with Don Narcisse. As a long time Rider fan, Sanjeev was thrilled to find out he had won two tickets to the 2015 Grey Cup, tickets to Riderville, tickets to the CFL Hall of Fame Party with Don Narcisse and three night’s hotel accommodations. Singh said, "The Lung Association of Saskatchewan is a premiere organization. Its staff and mission are focused solely on helping people. Three out of my four children are affected by lung disease and it's made a difference in the quality of their lives and mine. Winning the Grey Cup experience on top of it all, for a football fan like myself, is like icing on the cake."
As November 2014 and the Lung Month celebrations have come to an end, we want to thank all of our Lung Ambassadors: Brett Stovin; Kevin Stanfield; Kendal Netmaker; Aiden May; Lori Kleiboer; Stacie Cooper; Candace Bloomquist; and Don Narcisse for making this year the first ever Lung Month a special one.
