{contact.email_greeting},
As we head into April, we’re getting ready for National Organ and Tissue Donation Awareness Month and Green Shirt Day on April 7, held in honour of Logan Boulet. His decision to be an organ donor continues to inspire people across Canada. Many individuals are breathing today because someone chose to say yes. Registering is simple. Visit https://organdonor.saskatchewan.ca with your health card, and talk to your family about your decision. One choice can save lives. We’re also honoured to share an inspiring story. On April 7, Darcy Murdoch, a professional singer and double lung transplant recipient, will be featured on our Let’s Talk Lungs podcast. He shares his journey of life after transplant and what it means to receive a second chance at breath. You may have seen us share that Lung Saskatchewan is celebrating 115 years of improving lung health across the province. To mark this milestone, we’re inviting 115 people to give $15 a month, or make a one-time gift of $115. Your support helps fund programs, education, advocacy, and research across Saskatchewan. Our Breathe Strong Raffle is in full swing, featuring exciting Canadian trips, music festivals, and a life-changing jackpot. The Early Bird deadline is May 8. Don’t miss your chance to win while supporting lung health in Saskatchewan. And finally, something special is on the way. We’re bringing back a beloved tradition with a fresh, digital twist. Soon, you’ll be able to send a free tulip to someone you care about, or grow your bouquet in support of lung health. It’s a simple way to share kindness and help others breathe easier. Stay tuned for more about Breathe and Bloom. Thank you for being part of our community and for helping us build a future where everyone can breathe easier. Erin Kuan President & CEO |
