Analyst, Information Technology (temporary contract)

We do this by funding vital research and pushing for innovative ways to help people manage their health.
To provide first-level technical support for Lung Association staff and end-users of our websites
To work within the Enterprise Technology team to implement and maintain information technology services for the Association.
Experience building user interfaces (UI) and attention to the user experience (UX)
Fluent with HTML5 and CSS
Experience designing and developing responsive design websites
Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
Ability to understand CSS changes to have consistent style across platforms and browsers
To maintain a moderate level of current knowledge in the area of information technology.
Other duties as assigned
Not all skills are necessary but this position preference will be given to candidates with an aptitude for:
Linux, Git, Drupal, Drupal Themes, Symphony, Composer, Drush
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively within a team
This job is funded under the Canada Summer jobs and as such is restricted to the following youth:
Is between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of employment
Is a Canadian Citizen, permanent resident or person on whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act; and
is legally entitled to work in Canada
The contract will run from early June to late August for 420 total hours
Normal office hours between Monday to Friday 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
A combination of work from home and in-office is expected.
