"I am a Canadian, free to speak without fear, free to worship in my own way, free to stand for what I think right, free to oppose what I believe wrong, or free to choose those who shall govern my country. This heritage of freedom I pledge to uphold for myself and all mankind."
November 11th is Remembrance Day and an opportunity for us to reflect upon the sacrifices our men and women in uniform have made. Remembrance Day, 2020, will be different from those in the past. COVID-19 has changed many aspects of our lives and November 11 is no exception. One way you can honour our veterans this year is by doing your part to help slow the spread of COVID-19 by physically distancing, washing your hands, and wearing a mask. Our veterans sacrificed so much to protect Canadians and it's our turn to protect them from COVID-19.
