Last week the world recognized World Lung Cancer Day. Many organizations took over social media to recognize the many people who are fighting and have fought this horrible disease. Did you know lung cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer here in Canada? It is also the leading cause of cancer deaths in our country. It's quite clear there is a great need for earlier detection and more effective treatment options.
Here at the Lung Association of Saskatchewan, we have been partnering with Saskatchewan researchers on many lung health research projects. Saskatchewan is full of remarkable researchers and we are proud to support them in their amazing work with improving lung health, one breath at a time.
